Hard Refresh the Browser for UGRADE Web
1 – Open a paper for grading
- Click “Save without Uploading” if already grading a paper
2 – follow one of the methods below
- Windows
- Chrome, Firefox, or Edge: Press Ctrl+F5
- If that doesn’t work, try Shift+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R.
- Chrome, Firefox, or Edge: Press Ctrl+F5
- Mac
- Chrome or Firefox: Press Shift+Command+R.
- Safari: There is no simple keyboard shortcut to force a hard refresh. Instead, press Command+Option+E to empty the cache, then hold down Shift and click Reload in the toolbar.
- Chromebook
- Ctrl+Shift+Backspace
- “Obliterate the following items from: ” set the dropdown to “the beginning of time”
- make sure only “Cached images and files” is checked (uncheck the other checkboxes if they are checked)
- click “Clear browsing data”
- Ctrl+Shift+Backspace
- iPad
- Safari: There is no shortcut to force a cache refresh. You’ll have to dig into settings to erase your browser’s cache.
